Jeff Sessions made ‘error’ in DACA legal memo, says Justice Department
The Washington Times ^ | March 14, 2018 | Stephen Dinan

The Justice Department said in court Wednesday that Attorney General Jeff Sessions made an “error” in his memo laying out the legal problems with the Obama-era DACA program, as a federal judge repeatedly blasted the Trump administration for weak reasoning in revoking the deportation amnesty.

Government lawyers say the error isn’t enough to sink their case, arguing Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program is unlawful and the risks of trying to defend it in court were enough to justify the six-month phase out the acting Homeland Security secretary initiated last year.

I was fooled. I thought Sessions was bright, driven, and conservative.

Turns out he is none of those things.

The President doesn't even have to give a reason.

Trump doesn't need any reasoning, weak or not, he can simply end DACA by directing the Obama era executive action recinded.

Or not. Just because a liberal judge hammers him doesn’t make it so. Who are these whimsy DOJ lawyers?

Washington Times?

Yes, the epitome of honesty and integrity right there!

DACA wasn’t an EO, or anything like that, and it was flat out illegal and a violation of the US Constitution to boot.

But people are too fixated on minutiae flack being tossed out by activist judges, dirty politicians, corrupt federal officials, uniparty hacks, and special interest groups financed by globalist scumbags.

The President has the authority to put a stop to this, like NOW.

Are you sure you're not thinking of the Washington POST? The Washington Times seems solid to me.

He was too busy chasing potheads to worry about trivial stuff like the illegal alien invasion.

“Sessions, Obama advisers at work.”

Can’t help but wonder how many obama hold overs are whispering in Sessions ear as what to do. Yuk! What a dork.

And that is 1 year, 1 month, 6 days, too long.
