Isnt it delicious that Fauxcahontas, aka Sen. Elizabeth Warren the liberal Massachusetts Democrat toying with a 2020 presidential run is refusing to take a DNA test to finally prove whether her self-serving claims of Cherokee heritage are true?
Actually, watching Warren squirm and Chuck Todd all but flagellate himself for having to ask about the DNA test on Meet the Press was more than delicious.
It was tasty, kind of like a French omelet with crab meat at a fancy restaurant frequented by the Duke and Duchess of Windsor.
"I know who I am, and never used it for anything. Never got any benefit from it anywhere, Warren said, protesting too much.
Oh, no, of course not.
She just claimed Native American status while teaching law at Harvard, and Harvard flaunted it as proof of faculty diversity. Its all about checking the right racial boxes.
And until she takes that DNA test or releases the findings to show that she is indeed part Cherokee it will dog her, like some rogue beast of liberal Democratic identity politics, trotting behind her wherever she goes.

She doesn’t have to, any more than Trump has to show his tax return. But there are political ramifications, as there were for trump.
The odds are a bazillion to one that she hasn’t already taken a DNA test under another name and failed. If she was confident about her heritage, she would have taken and announced those results a long time ago. To me, this is absolute confirmation that she’s a liar and a phony. There is no way she would be offered as a Democrat Presidential candidate for 2020 if she refuses the test. If she did agree to a test, I would surely want to follow that sample from its taking to its reporting.
The issue, to me, has never been whether Warren thinks she has some Indian ancestry in her background. A lot of Americans have “family lore” that one of their great, great, great grandparents was an Indian. Sometimes its true and sometimes its false. The issue is that Warren used it to get ahead. She was the Indian on the Harvard staff. Whether or not she is 1/32nd Indian, her self-identifying as an Indian is ridiculous. She is as white as a sheet. There is absolutely nothing in her personal history that suggests that she lived as an Indian or was part of an Indian culture.
Wouldn’t this be the time to bring some fake ‘chief’ from a fake Indian tribe and campaign for the squaw in the public? Like using some wrestling-like PR....then bring up ‘Two-feathers’ and ‘Angry-Wind’ to voice criticism against the fake chief and Warren.
Too bad for Fauxcahontas Chief Jay Strongbow isn’t around.
“But there are political ramifications, as there were for trump.”
I’m assuming you mean the political attack dogs that try to find things to make people look bad. And leave it to the media to do the work. Where were they when Hilary boasted that she was named for Sir Edmund Hillary, the climber of Mt. Everest when he didn’t do it until 5 years after she was born. And where were they when Obama was found to have posted a “found” birth certificate to prove his birth date and location that had incorrect information on it and was improperly filed.
If she says she has Cherokee blood, then so what. My wife is 1/4 Cherokee, so what. I’m of Scotch/Irish background, but I’m a native American. I was born here, so that makes me a native. And it was on North America. So, I’m a native American. Do I have a tribe? Not that I know of. So, words don’t mean a lot do they? And the Chicago Times doesn’t either. And they have lied so many times by not telling the truth or the whole truth, maybe they should question themselves about their identity. That ought to keep then busy for a while. And keep them out of the slur politics that only they consider ramifications. I consider it trash.

DNA won’t always show American Indian ancestry. It’s results are not accepted by most tribes as proof. Some times it’s right/Some times it’s wrong.
Say what?! That doesn’t make any sense. So, what test tells you when it’s right or wrong? How do you know if that test is right?
That will happen when we see Barry Hussein Soeotor’s Birth Cert.

OTOH, if you are going around touting your indian heritage as s reason for people to vote for you, you had better get the DNA test, even if the law does not require you to. Unless your political opponent is a dweeb, it could cost you.
Sort of like Obama's birth certificate …
I'm 1/16, so I have a greater claim than she does. But since, like her, I grew up with 0 Native American cultural heritage, it would be a fraud for me to in any way claim Indian status.
Cherokee people, Cherokee tribes,
so proud to live, so proud to
Hey, liberals don’t need no stinkin’ proof! Besides, they are allowed to lie.
I assume she has already taken the test and has received negative results. Thus her refusal to “take” the test.
My guess is that someone already has done her DNA. Doesn’t have to be her. Perhaps a hair or some other trace she unknowingly left. She cant agree to take the test, it will destroy her politically.
It doesn’t matter, she “wanted” to be an Indian ... so that’s what counts, not silly DNA. (Hmmm, I wanted to be a cowboy...)
She’s trans-tribal. Shut up and celebrate her!
I think that DNA testing can tell if you have "Indian" in you, but it certainly can't tell what actual tribe you belong to.
I've read somewhere that to be a Cherokee, the Cherokee tribe itself has to make that determination.
Anyone can "claim" to be Cherokee, but if they say No you're not, you aren't Cherokee.
