As of this writing, Democrat Conor Lamb is clinging to a lead of roughly 600 votes in the special election for Pennsylvanias 18th Congressional District. There are probably not enough uncounted votes out there for Republican Rick Saccone to pull out the win. It also really doesnt matter much, one way or the other (unless you are a Democrat living in the 18th who feels strongly about having a Democrat represent you in Washington). Heres why: The House is increasingly polarized. There was a time that a narrowed House majority for a party would make for interesting politics in Washington, because enough members of each party could often be persuaded to vote for the other partys agenda and truly complicate matters. No more. The House is for all intents and purposes a parliamentary-style democracy, where members of a party support their partys agenda. There are exceptions (looking at you, Freedom Caucus), but generally speaking, Republicans vote for Republican policies. In other words, reducing the GOP majority from 24 seats to 23 is likely to have a minimal impact on actual legislation in the House.

The problem is that republicans have lives to live as opposed to leftists that consume themselves with identity politics and their asinine single issues.
their insanity forces them to crawl over broken glass to vote while the reps often have more pressing matters to attend to like family, work, finances etc
The center to right needs to wake the heck up...
Will be fun watching the Lamb voters have a fit when he kisses Pelosi’s ass and votes against gun rights.
The electorate here is quirky and not really “conservative” in the traditional sense. They have an inbred love of Democrats to promise to put a thumb on the scales of the economy and tip them in their favor in order to “make life fair”.
The Robber Barons of the Golden Age of Steel have ghosts who cast long shadows around here.
Wanted to hurl last night. Must have heard Casey is moderate a half dozen times last night. Where is he moderate? Please someone tell me!!
He’s a HUGE STINKIN LIB!!
Yeah, the big cities in Texas are mostly Democratic. Probably due to the easy welfare life under Democrats available in most large cities.
We lost in a district we had a 20 point atvantage in just like in Alabama.
The Democrats are driven by hate, and they control all the information with Google, Facebook, 80% of news and schools.
Google and Facebook are of course the single biggest threats controlling 90% of all information most people get today and actively using our information to Target and distory conservatives. Thou selective exposure to propaganda and carrer sabotage.
If these 2 companies are not broken up or stopped we can expect the entire country to go off the deep end with selective campaign that will ultimately cumulative in a final solution for their hated political enemy. Like they did in the 1930s to their Jewish enemies.
We have already seen how they are incapable of even talking about much less taking responsibility for their own policy failures driving up crime and countless other probems in the jurrisictions they run.
Without that information their problems will only get worse.

I wish I had the power to leave the country for the Midterms and next Presidential election. It will be nauseating. This country promoted zero reform.
Exactly. Every election counts. Every victory builds on the previous. PA-18 didn’t have to be a loss. It could have easily been a victory. It was thrown away for no good reason.
