To offer a corporate tribute to a national school walkout for gun-control measures, Viacom -- which owns several major cable networks -- "will suspend regularly scheduled programming for 17 minutes" at 10 am on Wednesday. Liberal student activists will take over MTV's Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat accounts. MTV, VH1, Logo, Comedy Central will have orange (the color of gun violence prevention) logos until the "March for Our Lives" on March 24.
Their press release is headlined "Viacom to Support Courageous Youth Activists Who Have Had Enough of Gun Violence." Or one could suggest "Viacom to Stick It to the NRA."

THIS is so true. The left has had too long under Trump to keep conspiring and planning a coup.

Local Miami media are promoting the anti-Constitution gun grabbing agenda too.
To my surprise, only the Warren Buffett owned ABC station did not promote the full throated anti-Constitution astroturfing that is going on among the youth.
Even the school district, ever eager to separate children from their parental guidance, encouraged this crap as “first amendment rights”.
Of course, if a coalition of PRO LIFE students decided to walk out of class to protest the murder of unborn innocents, I am betting the school districts and the media wouldn’t be quite so supportive.

Your average CNN (and other leftist networks) are loathed by many a cable/satellite subscriber that is just clueless to the fact that they are subsidizing exactly what they hate via bundling.
The problem I have now with most mainstream channels is exactly what is described here, where they’ve all gone political. It’s nearly impossible to watch anything without some political jab thrown at us.
Sling TV used to advertise they offered al-la-carte tv, when in fact you had to buy a bundle that included CNN with no options whatsoever for Fox. FU Sling..

lol. Everyone should vote. Why wouldn’t we want all Americans to vote. This is one of the few rights we have. I started voting at 18. Not much to vote for, but the following year was a Presidential year and it was exciting to vote. I think all Americans could be excited to vote. The problem is when illegals vote, but hopefully that is a problem being handled by the states.
They turned off NickJr for 4-7 year olds. I hope they lose half their viewership.

I’m sure MTV, BET, Nick and the other Viacom subsidiaries are as interested in getting conservative kids out to vote as you are about wanting everyone to vote.
Sure, in a perfect world everyone voting may be good, but your post is clearly implying that Viacom is not targeting a very specific subset of that age demographic. If you really believe Viacom isn’t scientifically targeting a very specific voter group then you are woefully mistaken.
To imply that Viacom is simply trying to get all young voters (including Conservative voters) motivated and to the polls is... interesting.
Somehow I don’t think MTV’s decades long “Rock the Vote” sham is, or was, aimed at Conservative kids.
