On today’s Morning Joe, saying the story puts Melania, Ivanka and others in a “terrible position,” Mika said that Melania and Ivanka “can’t protect [Trump] . . . you can’t overlook it.”

“Does anyone realize that this NDA does NOT mention Donald Trump ever? And it does NOT mention Stormy Daniels or her real name? It has “David Dennison” and someone else. Stormy Daniels says ‘David Dennison’ is REALLY Donald Trump. Which of course makes the NDA complete fiction.”
The NDA does mention Trump through the “side agreement”
document, which specifies who the aliases actually are in the NDA.
It’s blacked out at the moment, but there’s little doubt that David Dennison refers to Donald Trump.
There’s little point in arguing that the affair did not occur, imo.
Once you tell me $130K was paid to a porn star right before an election, I pretty much know why.
There’s no other reason for such an elaborate agreement and subsequent signed statements, imo.
Accept the affair from 12 years ago and move on, and hope that the recent payment does not turn out to be illegal.
Mika’s an ugly woman... plastic surgery and make-up can’t cover the ugliness that pushes out of her every pore...
I saw a TV special where he showed up to help the staff at his hotels, trying to putting himself into their shoes. He’d make the beds but he wouldn’t scrub the toilets. And he apologized to the woman he was helping for not being able to help her clean the bathroom. I was wondering if he was too proud, but he did all the other chores.
I wasn’t aware Daniels was trying to make her story known, but it seems odd that the press couldn’t miss an affair with a porn star especially after the release of the Hollywood video. And I’m not saying he isn’t above an affair, but I can’t see it with this woman. As I mentioned in the other post, she would not have been a low profile mistress. It seems most people have affairs with people who have proximity - co-worker, nanny, housekeeper, etc.

I think it’s probably because all there is is the affair, and that’s not a big deal these days.
If she had the goods on Trump, she wouldn’t need to raise money for a legal defense, a Trump opponent would bankroll her gladly for something big that would hurt Trump.
Wonder if Joe’s former wife “overlooked” Mika?
How about Hillary — did she rush out and divorce Horndog-in-Chief?

What's the "Side document"? Is there a link to it somewhere...anywhere? And if they go to the trouble of making an NDA with fake names and then have a "side document" to explain who these people REALLY are then what's the sense of having fake names in the nda in the first place?
Why should a person accept that which they did not do.

Trump’s lawyer hasn’t claimed the NDA and side agreement are fake.
Why hasn’t he done that?
Instead, he has stated in public that he paid Clifford $130K from his home equity line.
It’s not rocket science here.
Why would Trump’s lawyer enter into an NDA with Clifford, and pay Clifford $130K out of a personal home equity line?
It’s blatantly obvious that something went on between Trump and Clifford.
The problem is not the obvious affair, but the payment 12 years later near election day.
It’s the payment that will sink Cohen and damage Trump.
Cohen is clearly in trouble for that payment, imo.
