It seems like every day gives me a new reason to be glad I didn't vote for Donald Trump. And less often, but far more often than I'd like, Hillary Clinton opens up her big yap and gives me a new reason to be glad I didn't vote for her either.
Here's America's Least Favorite Grandma speaking in India the other day, in remarks that have now been "seized on" by the Republicans.* Get ready to be scolded once more, you stupid, filthy peasants.
If you look at the map of the United States, there's all that red in the middle, where Trump won. I win the coasts, I win Illinois, Minnesota, places like that. But what the map doesn't show you is that I won the places that represent two-thirds of America's gross domestic product. [SCATTERED APPLAUSE] So I won the places that are optimistic, diverse, dynamic, moving forward. And his whole campaign, Make America Great Again, was looking backwards. "You didn’t like black people getting rights, you don't like women getting jobs, you don't want to see that Indian-American succeeding more than you are.
