Sorry, but its not.

Most of the ad buys here have not been Saccone direct ads, but GOPe pac buys... and the messaging is ALL WRONG to generate turnout.

The message has all been trying to tie Lamb to Pelosi, you can’t get more national with your message than that.

The ads literally could be for any R candidate in the last 15 years.

Trying to lay this purely at Saccone’s feet is not accurate. He has no control over the various PAC’s and their messaging.

That's not entirely my point.

Right now, it's like watching an Olympic race with only one person running. Usually, you have several racers in a line, where the one in front takes he brunt of the wind while the rest get the benefit of less resistance. In team races, they take turns in front to keep the team rested.

This special election does not have the benefit of leveraging the enthusiasm of the entire country; it is facing the headwinds all by itself. The voters have no benefit of a bandwagon effect of being part of a larger movement, and might be more susceptible to gaslighting with no larger movement to compare against.

I would hope that any GOPe ad messaging would, in November, align with a national strategic message. An out-of-step message (if that's what is going on today) would stand out sharply against a national message, and would likely be quickly corrected (I hope).
