Former GOP California governor and global warming activist Arnold Schwarzenegger came under fire for his near-daily private jet commute from his Brentwood home to the governors mansion in Sacramento. The governors Gulf-stream jet does nearly as much damage to the environment in one hour as a small car does in a year, the Los Angeles Times reported in 2008. But not to worry, because Schwarzenegger is well aware of this and makes amends by purchasing pollution credits for the carbon dioxide his jet releases.
It's hilarious how these hypocrites operate (Gore included) -- wasting tons of energy and resources (more than multitudes of people combined) and telling everyone it's okay...
...because they bought imaginary "carbon credits" to make up for it.
I have a couple of friends who also purchase the carbon credits each time they fly
“You fall behind, yo’ on yo’ own....”
If they absolve themselves of their carbon-belching lifestyles, liberals feel superior to the rest of us.
Who knew?
What about that 3 foot Cigar he chomps on
Do carbon credits fluctuate in price like BitCoin?
Annd the Hummers he used to drive & promote.
Big fridkin deal......arrest the Clintons
ie....the buying of nothing.
They’re phony like medieval indulgences but will allow true believers to purchase salvation in the Holy Church Of Climate Change.
Has nothing to do with ameliorating the weather.
It’s weird but they do it.
I think it’s Envy offset more than anything....
Isn’t purchasing carbon credits a type of virtue signalling? I agree, it is a sham.
Yup.
How does buying carbon credits offset climate change?
This is the liberal ano mundi and we’re asked to believe a piece of paper will make the planet cooler.
Yeah, sure.
Hey Ahhnold and Al...I got some carbon credits for sale...
Wanna buy them???
I never bought carbon credits. I guess I’m condemned to global warming hell.......I’m not a member in good standing of the Al Gore church of mother Earth.
Probably bought his “carbon credits” with taxpayer money, to boot.
That’s not news. He did it because March a Shriver refused to move to Sacramento.
Algore sells em.
>>I never bought carbon credits<<
I bought some but foolishly left them on the back seat of my car and someone stole them.
I watched most of the new “Point Break” movie, didn’t finish it.
What kept running thru my mind was that these leftard criminals were doing what they were doing for the earth, or something like that. All you had to have was a TON of cash and you too can be an ecowarrior!
