The stories in my family are that my great grandfather was full blood Native American. He died when my grandmother was 9 and she told me all she really remembered about him.....she had a still pic in her mind of him shirtless chopping wood with black hair in a braid that was half way down his back. Before my grandmother died she did look like an old Indian woman. High cheekbones. Lol. Don’t know of anyone in our family that has done a dna test but don’t think anyone has ever marked Native American on anything. I know I never have.

I know there is some Native American in our family tree but not to the extent of your family. We’ve never investigated to see if we can cash in from it.

If you’re in the right tribe, it can be lucrative. I know a guy that recently told me that his wife gets $46,000 per year from her tribe (tax free), 0% loans, almost free housing, free healthcare, etc. His son, early 20s, gets $19,000+ per year.
