The right thing to have done was to encourage / demand the House give him a bump stock ban bill. Then get it through the Senate. Then sign it.
But by doing what he just did, he made it possible for Dems to EO firearms away.

i agree completely. The slippery slope will turn into an avalanche when the Democrats get in power again. Just how when W pushed for amnesty, that legitimized the issue for the Dems to push it forward. And blame Republicans for it.
I like it, but most people don't know the difference between Karl Marx and Groucho Marx. Mad Maxine doesn't work because it sounds too cool. "Low IQ" works better because it's demonstrably true (although IQ tests are racist, ya know, but anyone who thinks that way will never ever vote for a Republican anyway).

In this case, I will grant Trump an exception. And Waters has more than merited the condescension. Maybe at least some of her voters will reconsider their support for the woman.
