Another day, another travesty going on at one of our nations institutions of higher learning. This one is particularly galling, however. Lake Ingle, a student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, has been barred from class and could be prevented from graduating all because he told a nutty leftist professor Alison Downie that, according to biologists, there are only two genders. Oh, and he disputed the wage gap myth with, get this, facts and figures!

Definitely THE greatest quote about the intent and purpose of the political correct madness.
(Needs to be narrower there to read easily without opening a new pane.)
I hope that one day, perhaps even in the coming New Year, I will have the courage and strength to walk squarely into a poisonous cloud of shame, to risk being vulnerable,
One can only hope that the professor will be engaged by someone capable of unpacking this. (It would probably be unrealistic to expect undergraduates, especially those dependent on her for a grade, to punch their way through the paper bag.) Shame is an emotion that is self-inflicted. It is in that respect akin to envy and resentment and, like resentment, is rooted in embarrassment about one's own behavior. The strategy recommended against shame by all morally competent teachers, notably all the major religious traditions and all good parents, is prophylactic: don't act in ways that are shameful, and you will never need to feel shame. If you do act in shameful ways, the remedy is confession, repentance, and reformation.
So: the professor's statement is actually quite revealing, though she is probably not intellectually disciplined enough to understand it. She is saying that she feels ashamed in the presence of people who are not sexually broken, and in the presence of people of faith. But her reaction is not repentance and reformation. It is rage.
Or, to cut to the chase: the darkness hates the light.
If there is a competent person at her university, or in the town, ready to engage the professor on these grounds, it could make for an interesting discussion. I doubt that she would be capable of responding to reasoned argument, but perhaps I underestimate her.
It is incredible the level of inflexible ignorance and a\ academic fascism pervading the nation’s colleges. I blame the
College President for allowing this woman to keep her job. I would probably fire the president along with the nutty professor. Most college presidents are weak kneed and they really need to have an equal amount of pressure from conservatives in the community in losing their jobs as the left gives them. They will fold like a cheap suit
