I might as well take this opportunity to announce to all of you that I also have decided not to run for the U.S senate in California...

Some of these Bay Area Antifa would literally be coming for you, knowing full well that our local courts would ‘under-prosecute’. Mike knows what I mean, like others who live here.

I figured that. He was no more going to run for office than Kid Rock was.

I didn’t think he would run. The announcement was enough to give di fi a scare, and to activate the democrat slime machine.
The Chinese managers of factories in Africa who rent helicopters on weekends to shoot elephants from and ship the ivory back home are the real danger to elephants, Michael, but don’t let reality get in the way of your virtue signalling.
I did not think that he would run, either. Laura Ingram went through the same paces, with a potential run against Tim Caine. I suspect that she changed her mind after seeing what the democrat slime machine was planning for her.
However, Mike's platform would have traction and inspire many voters to come out of the woodwork and vote for a "Trump like" candidate in California.
Maybe we will see another conservative successfully challenge the Feinstein creature. The state has become lawless.
He would have had his butt beaten so bad it would have been embarrassing. Someday a Conservative might win, but Savage never had a prayer.

Unless this is a joke, Mr. Savage needs to re-think fighting the import of elephant trophies. It might be ironic but the best thing that can happen to any animal specie is to allow trophy hunting. Give people a solid economic reason to keep the animals around and they'll regard the animal as an economic asset. As it is now, most African villagers consider elephants as 10,000 pound dangerous rats who can destroy a year's productivity in the village garden in an hour or two of foraging. There is a reason why villagers aren't upset when an elephant is poached in the area where hunting is not allowed. Usually, they're the ones who tipped off the poachers.
Reasonable safeguards can be adopted to prevent the importation of poached elephant trophies.
