They don’t have to pay 25% more, buy USA steel, no tariffs

I think the problem might be that the US steel industry isn’t what it used to be, so US supply may quickly be outstripped by demand. Which would erase any benefit by buying US made steel.

Now of course, the tarrif would encourage reinvestment in US made steel, however it could take a decade or two to reach capacity levels to meet current demand much less future demand.

It was great he fulfilled a campaign promise kudos for that of course but I’d rather have seen the funding for the wall secured and more illegals deported by now.

Who knows though, a real tariff hasn’t been implemented in years in favor of our country so who knows what the real impact will be. So it all could be pessimism that says it will be harmful. I don’t see how it won’t have at least short term detrimental effects but I’m no expert that’s for sure.

What Free Traitors want you to believe is that the supply function is static and no new domestic suppliers will EVER come on line. Despite their best efforts to the contrary brand new factories are still being built in the USA all the time. Not as many as are closed mind you but the situation is dynamic and not static. With more domestic supply will mean pressure to reduce prices.

The mental midgets we lovingly call Free Traitors are some of the stupidest people on earth.
