No, what I said was correct. I didn’t say there was a crime. I said they would want to push the lawsuit to the point they could get a deposition.
But Clinton lied during his sworn testimony to Ken Starr, who was investigating Whitewater and expanded to other issues (including Jones). He didn’t lie in a deposition for the Jones lawsuit itself.
Also, the Jones lawsuit was directly against Clinton; despite the NBC-speak and lawyer-speak, it isn’t even clear who Stormy is legally suing and why.
