In a bizarre episode, Sam Nunberg, a former aide to Donald Trump, vowed Monday not to cooperate with the special counsel investigating Russian political interference even as he suggested that the president "may have done something" improper during the campaign.
But after speaking with several reporters and appearing on multiple cable television shows over the course of the day, Nunberg began to back down from his threats to ignore a subpoena to testify before a grand jury.

He is backing down because he sobered out and realized how stupid the things he did while drunk were.
Yeah, next step - apology, rehab, and denounce all the statements made under the influence.

Alcohol might be odorless, but the people who drink it aren’t.
I worked in the Drug and Alcohol Division of a city Health Dept. It was in a basement floor. Drunks literally would fall down the stairs and land in front of my desk. The smell emanating from them made me gag. I had to transfer out before a month was up. The worst odor!!
Mueller’s job came from a chain of events that based on the phony “dossier,” so why wouldn’t he blackmail characters like Nunberg to suborn perjury? But it’s possible that Nunberg is trying to diminish his own credibility as a witness.
He was a dumbass shooting his mouth off, saying damaging things while he’s at it. He cannot defy a subpoena without criminal penalties. He can show up and plead the fifth, but he can’t not show up.
Not alcohol that is in booze like scotch, bourbon, etc.

It isn't only Muslims and Seventh-Day Adventists who refrain from riotous living and self-destructive behavior.
And I stand by my assertion that alcohol is odorless.
