I want Jeff Sessions to come riding in on a white horse to save the day, not ostentatiously share dinner with his deputy, only his deputy because he recused himself....sharing dinner with an in your face. Not to mention the twitter wars.

Just finished watching the Mona Charen segment on the Sunday morning C-SPAN chitchat show. The highlight was probably when she mentioned that the New York Times is now a major source of conservative commentary. She rattled off about half a dozen names of columnists, and David Brooks was only in the middle of the pack.
2nd place - Fox News and Breitbart offer worship of President Trump, and apparently MSNBC and CNN are the only liberal alternatives she could think of.
Watching this person talk made me realize that there is a category of people I will call "Sackcloth Republicans", who must feel guilty for being a Republican and feel the need to criticize other members of the party. I suppose now that the segment is over, she has returned to her (medieval connotation) to beat herself with a scourge in order to purify her thought process and make herself worthy.
Wallace sticks to his talking points. He does not have the capacity to digest and engage in the art of listening. He is programmed and boring. He simply sticks to the script. He went along with “The Democrats want to get something done.”
The Democrats don’t want to get anything done. They want to keep issues on the table for their election competition. Wallace should have followed up and ask “when do Democrats want to get something done?”
Actually, Trump loved Sessions and Steve Miller's position on immigration. Miller wrote Trump's position paper on immigration.
Sad but true. We are in an era where we have to question everyone regardless of which side they claim.

It is all about being resentful because they do not have power and preserving entitlements for their small base. When Trump wins, the resentment turns into extreme hatred.
Wilbur Ross at Davos asked a brilliant question to a panel that was complaining about possible US tariffs. He asked them to name one country in the world that is less protectionist than the US. Crickets.
Wallace had his agenda and he was going to get it done in spite of what Navarro said. Completely unprofessional interview and should be on CNN where he belongs.
The last cheap shot was a kick in the pebbles with no proof whatsoever. Who would go on his show if they are not a Dem?

I was in and all around Northern Alabama last week....a warm , glorious, spring-is-coming week. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Heard about the yellow cardinal and kept my eyes peeled.
No, Wallace had a bunch of gotcha questions he was going to bring the WH down with and kept pushing them. He went way over the line with his interrupting mid-answer and pretended he was the Old Media expert when the guy he was interrupting has been an expert for 40 years.
