(snip) --- In retrospect, Im embarrassed at how nervous I was when I arrived. I found myself singing along to God Bless the USA with a hilariously rowdy group of college Republicans, having nuanced discussions about gun control and education policy with people from all walks of life, nodding my head in agreement with parts of Ben Shapiros speech, and coming away with a greater determination to burst ideological media bubbles.

What do you know? These people are actually people.
The part about having nuanced discussions about gun control is somewhat concerning.
Hey, Buddy! I got yer nuanced right here!
Yeah, there is a small percentage of Democrats that are open minded. She’s South Asian, with a different core than American-born rats.
She also wrote “Im new to this, but shouldnt we want to engage with people who arent convinced of our viewpoints? Why arent there more conservatives at Democratic rallies and more liberals at CPAC? What are we afraid of?”
She should next go to Democrat gatherings claiming to be a conservative Republican, and see for herself the reactions she gets. Then tell us all.
....too bad he can’t have a conversation with Seth Rich
“She should next go to Democrat gatherings claiming to be a conservative Republican, and see for herself the reactions she gets.”
That’s a really good idea. Have her do an experiment and then report back. If she’s a Twitter person, someone should make that suggestion to her.
Free speech is dangerous and insidious.
If you let conservatives have a forum, and listen to them, you might actually take them seriously, or - heaven forfend! - change your mind.
Too many Democrats in leadership from the Chicago school.
They can’t come together with Republicans because of RULE #13: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.
Shall not be nuanced.
Just doesnt sound right.
Some are borderline mentally ill and can be saved or save themselves, most are rabid, arrogant, overeducated,8 track recorders
Back when they wrote the Constitution, I rather doubt that the word nuanced was in existence, or if so, used in polite society.
Who is “she?”
IIRC, Fox News did just that - they sent someone in a Hillary shirt to stand outside the Republican convention, and someone in a Trump shirt to the Democrat convention. As best I remember, Republicans were polite and friendly to the “Hillary” plant, but Democrats screamed vitriol at the “Trump” supporter.
Does this really surprise anyone?
Hmm, from the article: To be sure, Im a tiny, talkative South Asian woman who spent four months on Hillary Clintons 2016 campaign staff.
Doesn’t surprise me; the Rats are under demonic influence — maybe even possession.

Sometimes I actually read the linked article. 8^)
> Why arent there more conservatives at Democratic rallies?
For the same exact reason there weren’t more Jews at Hitler rallies.
Sometimes I do too, but not very often.
__________
Good point.
