George P Bush's Struggle In Texas May Signal End Of 70-year Political Dynasty
theguardian.com ^ | 3 Mar 2018

George P Bush is the young, half-Hispanic, grandson of the 41st president, nephew of the 43rd and son of a former Florida governor.

When he was elected Texas land commissioner four years ago, that background gave him a significant advantage as a fledgling Republican candidate seemingly on a fast track to stardom.

Now, with conservative politics turned on its head by Trumpism, Bush is facing a tough primary election that threatens to doom his political career – and with it, bring to a close his family’s 70-year political dynasty.

“It’s quite possible that the Bush political dynasty, at least for this generation, could end in the spring of 2018 because if George P Bush fails to win the GOP nomination for land commissioner it’s tough to see him coming back from that any time soon,” said Mark Jones, a political scientist at Rice University.

The Bush Dynasty committed political suicide. America is disgusted with all of them.

The historical Alamo is lost forever. It has already been rebuilt, and is not the original.

I doubt it would end that easily. Look at the Kennedy Family - like the shingles or herpes, just when you think that it is gone, it painfully re-emerges.

“Stay out of the Bush!”

What really got me is the way G. W. said not a word for the 8 years that obama trashed and blamed everything under the sun on G. W.; but when President Trump comes on the scene, bad mouths him up one side and down the other. Also when I read that G.W. considered Hillary like and sister; and Mama bush thought of Billy Boy Clinton like a son....that was more than I could take. NO MORE BUSHES. I have no respect for any of them.

he's passing himself off as a good-ol-boy Conservative, closed-borders Trumpite in his political commercials. He's calling Jerry Patterson, the other candidate, a Hillary-lovin' open-borders Marxist.

These commercials are hilarious.

George P Bush is the young, half-Hispanic

First time I've ever heard anyone called "half-Hispanic."

Unfortunately his challenger Patterson is not much better.

I don’t know what to do. I’m sure not going to vote for Jerry Patterson and I’m not sure I want to vote for GPB......what to do, what to do........sigh

Wonder if they’ve ever used the term “half-black” for Obama.

I can’t tell you they NEVER used the equally correct term “half-WHITE” for Obama!

GPB broke with his family and endorsed Trump. I didn’t vote him, but now I might because of his Trump endorsement.

Times have changed, and so have priorities. I voted for Dubya knowing full well he was wrong on illegal immigration - say what you will about Dubya, he was never deceptive on that point - because the war in Iraq appeared to me to have a higher priority. It was also clear that like his father, he was a globalist, and he was never particularly deceptive on that point either. Both men made the proper obeisance to the UN and coalitions before embarking on military activity (and, I am beginning to have to concede, more so than toward the Constitutional requirements).

That was then, this is now. Clearly illegal immigration has advanced to the point of an existentialist threat, as have very open globalist attempts to usurp U.S. sovereignty in the arenas of environmentalism, international taxation, trade, to name a few, as well as in very open attempts to manage U.S. policies through direct influence on corrupt members of the political establishment, whose names, such as Clinton, I shall decline to mention.

However, political dynasties depend on successors, and although Dubya proved a more formidable successor to GHWB than many suspected, what is left, heaven help us, is the New American Triumvirate of Yeb!, George P, and Chelsea the Frog Princess Clinton. That's awfully thin gruel. Take Trump out of the equation and you have a gap in generational talent the size of the Marianas trench, and one of that wretched lot would be a shoe-in for at least the next Presidential nomination. I get queasy thinking about it.

The truth is that the DC political establishment has sucked the life out of both parties. It wasn't clear until the last couple years of the 0bama regime that that was the case, but when your standard bearers turn out to be a dinosaur named Bernie on the one hand and Kasich/McClean/Yeb! on the other, the patient doesn't even have a pulse. Interesting times, and transitional ones as well.

And GWB did all that, along with the rest of what has been called the Saudi “teat suckers” because the narrative and political money was controlled and metered out by Prince Alwaleed (and he was real buddies with the bushies). All the while, recall Alwaleed offering 10 million to NYC for the “victims” of the very operation he paid for.

Now that Alaweed is at a minimum neutered, and at a maximum headed for a chop— the bush chain is over with. The entire house of fake cards. The same fake people who ignored Tienamen Square and abandoned the Kurdish Free State— all for the alwaleed supplied secret police and the saud funded madrassahs— in exchange for military sales contracts and oil concessions. Bushes and Clintons-— dead and soon to be buried dynasties we should all stop paying any attention to, and never voting for again.

His mother was not a citizen when he was born. Tiffany is the only natural born Trump. Baron, I’m not sure of.

There's still the Romney dynasty, but that will probably be over in November.

Mitt Romney will be the Senator-elect from Utah in November.
