I have been trying to be patient with ole Jeff.

But....he is irritating me every time he starts gabbing about the integrity of the DOJ and the FBI.

Thats just the problem Sessions. The FBI and DOJ have lost any integrity they might have had and so will Sessions if he lets this corruption and treason go unpunished.

So far his maybes, warms to the ideas etc. leave me with no confidence.

I hope I am wrong.

I stayed up late on FR the night Drudge rolled the Lewinsky hand grenade into the parlor.

We - the FR regulars - didn't see it coming even two weeks before it hit.

It was the usual trench warfare even after the turn of the year.

I just find the silence of Sessions odd - coupled with the Trump tweeting on the subject.

It doesn't make any sense.

I've found in these twenty plus years on FR that sometimes you have to let the pot simmer on the back burner till it's deliciously done.

No one has patience any more... winking face

What’s funny is I’m a hard head and an observer of concrete. That’s to say, not of the kind that’s rolled over, driven over, stood on, or smoothed over, or hosed with high pressure, but I like things that “ show me the money”, are obvious, transparent, proven, clear and ....concrete. When I saw Sleepy 😴 💤 testify before a House Investigative Committee and tell Jim Jordan that he had seen no evidence whatsoever that met the standard for appointing a Special Prosecutor on the Uranium One connection to Hillary, I knew Jeff had been 1) bought, or, 2) sold. Jordan had just slammed down, chapter and verse, the facts and examples of malfeasance and corruption as long as his arm. Sessions could not answer several questions because he said Rubenstein had not briefed him. LOL! Sessions gets to make announcements at the Justice Department when Rubenstein says, and testify when called, after Rubenstein prepares him. He should be in Communications, but dang, Rubenstein won’t let him have a pen and a phone, yet.

Trump has been critical of Sessions, over and over again.

Sessions, under oath, has served notice, that he is recused on all matters connected to Hillary. That's all of the Deep State stuff.

Sessions in no uncertain terms, in words and in deeds, numerous times, has left all of these Deep State matters in the hands of his buddy Rod Rosenstein.

Rod Rosenstein has served notice, with his choice of his buddy Bob Mueller, with his whitewash prosecution of Uranium One and with his signing off on a fraudulent FISC application, that he is Deep State.

These are the facts one would have to ignore, to defend Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III.

The IG can’t do a damned thing; Sessions is the only one who can and I doubt he shall.

I don’t trust sessions at all he hasn’t done squat

Hillary, Lois Lerner, the FBI and Obama, and mayors who alert ICE, none have been held accountable for anything yet.
While mueller finds some ticky tack garbage every week. From what I’ve see Sessions is just another gutless rino coward who lets dems get away with anything and everything.

If he ends up finally doing something and proving me wrong I will gladly apologize. Until then my opinion stands.

Apparently, Coulter and Steve King are not paying attention to the work being done by Judicial Watch and Sean Hannity.

The FBI, the DOJ, the Clintons, and high level Obama appointees are up to their elbows in anti-Trump political corruption and unlawful acts.

Sessions has done nothing - except order an Obama appointee to investigate other Obama appointees.

“the IG report is imminent”

Report done by an Obama guy that Sessions kept on.

Get ready to be underwhelmed.

Loretta Lynch is the one calling the shots in the DOJ. Sessions didn’t fire any of her staff. He is either inept or compromised.

“Sessions is a nice, tenacious man!”

Half the folks on this site tell we lovers of a Free Republic to calm down when Trump sides with our enemies in ghastly displays on national TV. Because, well, we are expected to assume his best negotiating tactic involves public backstabbing and deceitful public statements. And that we are nervous and only slightly bloodied school girls if we don’t shut up and wait for the Donald to eventually take his Scot Peterson mask off and charge in finally upholding his oath to defend our rights.

So... since Sessions has a 95% lifetime conservative rating, an A+ from the NRA, held a Senate seat 2 decades and won basically every vote except that of his opponent’s mom in his last Senate race in perhaps our most conservative state, is a refreshing choice as AG since he actually has experience as, well, an AG, was Trump’s earliest and most loyal supporter and has been incredibly energetic in pursuing Trump’s number 1 campaign promise - fighting illegal immigration....

And... since Donald and the Trumpettes tell us TODAY that such a man is the devil incarnate...

Then the only valid conclusion is that TOMORROW he’ll believe Sessions is the savior. And that those Never-Jeffs who don’t believe on him are indeed, according to one fellow below, ‘retarded’. Because they haven’t learned to parse Trump’s 4d chess, ends-justify-the-means Machiavelli Clinton on a bad hair day tactics.

Don’t get me wrong. I voted for Trump in the general, I believe the sarcastic scenario above is actually at least possible and absolutely love a few things he’s done. But I don’t like everything he does/says any more than I’d like to live 24 hrs/day on a roller coaster.

If the definition of what is right -vs- what is wrong is entirely based on what Trump says or does last on any given topic, then I’m fairly sure he’ll speak/act only one more time on DACA, bio-fuels, de-funding Planned Parenthood, pulling troops from Syria, balanced budgets, etc.

Flip-flops are apparently a good thing if flips are simply viewed as clever promises of a coming flop.

Sessions should be VP by next week.

If it turns out that Sessions get it all done, then I will issue a public apology.

But as it it now stands, Sessions is a little swamp-sucking p*ssy.

After a year I would think someone would be indicted by now. So far all I seen was Lois lerner being left alone because Sessions thinks she did no wrong.

Tammy Bruce was just on Hannity with Judge Jeanine at first saying he’s a good man and should be respected, to later that maybe he’s just not cut out for the job!

What, exactly does everyone want Sessions to do? Daily pressers describing the status of every criminal investigation currently in progress? Defense lawyers would be delighted, it’s a slam dunk that they could argue their clients can’t get a fair trial thanks to the prejudicial pre trial information provided by the DOJ.

There would have to be extremely tight security around any activity to try to prevent massive leaking.

If the investigations are in motion, they need to be completely bullet proof, free of any errors that could get the cases tossed at the trial court level or reversed on appeal. That requires a very slow and methodical approach.

I don’t know what the DOJ is doing. But, I can tell you that building their cases and doing nothing are going to look exactly the same at this stage.

Right.

I don’t recall anyone at the IRS, EPA, or other government offices being sent to prison for their crimes. Just a taxpayer payout fine. The perps DON’T CARE.

So many crimes left unprosecuted. And we now hope that these ADDITIONAL crimes will be prosecuted, tried, and convicted with prison sentences? They aren’t even being aired in the media weekly. All the while the enemy of the State from within the State is continuing their fifth columnist attacks and leaks.
