Oh my! After what happened at the trio nest last year with the intruder, it must have really been unsettling to see an intruder with Mrs. N! I haven’t kept tabs on DNN very much though I peek in once in a while.
I was watching DH because they were having owl problems again, as well as lining up tunes for tonight.
Our rain was part of the system that’s slamming NE now. Cold air came in behind it and we’ll be nippy the next week with too many nights in the 30s. Not good for all the trees and flowers blooming.
It was just the craziest thing. There was absolutely no violence, He just walked around the nest moving stuff. When he jumped up to the branch after being nipped, she grumbled and put the stuff back where it belonged on HER nest. He was there for a very long time. Maybe there’s a video.
I just got notice on FB that the Norwegian WT Eagle nest is closed down due to lack of funding. *sniff* I was really looking forward to watching little ones from there this year!
