The Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Devin Nunes (R-CA), is asking Attorney General Jeff Sessions whether the Justice Department is investigating what appears to be a clear violation of FBI protocols. In a letter sent on Thursday, Nunes laid out the protocols that FBI agents appear to have violated in using the Steele dossier to obtain a surveillance warrant on a Trump campaign member under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).
He cited FBI guidelines that officials must follow when requesting FISA warrants, including that Only document and verified information may be used to support FBI applications [FISA] to the court [FISC].
Nunes said in his letter that former and current DOJ and FBI leadership have confirmed to the Committee that unverified information from the Steele dossier comprised an essential part of the FISA applications related to Carter Page.

What in the hell is Sessions doing about anything?.. It’s kinda like having Barney Fife as AG!.. Sessions sends lots of threatening letters, and he gives numerous speeches and talks tough.. And yet by all appearances, it’s just false bravado....
The DOJ’s ignoring of “Sanctuary” Cities and States alone is a national disgrace.. No one can make the case that there is any such thing as local or state immigration law, as it does NOT exist!.. It’s mob rule lawlessness, plain and simple, and it should have been dealt with months ago.. Hell, California’s AG Javier Baccero actually brags about his obstruction of justice, while he simultaneously threatens to prosecute California citizens who acknowledge the Federal Governement’s Constitutional jurisdiction over immigration by assisting ICE agents.. And what’s the Sessions DOJ doing about it?.. Squat!.. He just sends more threatening letters.. The bottom line is that Baccero should have been frog walked into Federal Court on obstriction of justice charges months ago....
I can’t imagine Nunes’s frustration over the work he’s put into exposing this FISA and Special Council BS, let alone the abuse he’s taken, just to have it apparently ignored.. It’s just like Trey Gowdy said recently when he pointed out in his frustration that Congress can’t prosecute anyone!.. Is all Congress can do is gather evidence through congressional oversight, and then turn over that evidence to the DOJ and hope that they do their job!..
Jeff Sessions - Trump’s most glaring mistake of his presidency.
4D chess. Rope a dope. Yeah, that’s it.
Don’t worry, Sessions will get an Obama Minion right on it
Watch Jeff Sessions put a change of address - return to sender notice on the letter when he gets it.
American Thinker recently had a piece about how Sessions seeming lethargy at DOJ is a calculated strategy by him and Trump (along with Trump’s Tweets attacking Sessions) to distance Sessions from Trump’s image with Democrats, so that when Sessions brings the hammer down on people like McCabe, or even Clinton, he will seem independent.
Take if with a grain of salt....
Sessions is a beady-eyed deep-state compromised rat BASTARD!!
The guilt is written all over that mealy-mouthed southern fried piece of living sh!t
Sessions’ quick answer: zip.
I’d love to see Nunes as AG.
Sessions promised to recuse himself after questioning from that blowhard fake senator Al Franken. Well now Franken is gone and Sessions should tell the press and Rosenweasel to go to hell, unrecuse himself and start acting like a real attourney general, not a pansy.
Sessions has been AG for 1 year, 21 days.
Nunes’ letter will go to Rod Rosenweasel, since Rosenweasel is
running DOJ.
The Justice dept and FBI should be seperated. Otherwise the are just investigating themselves. Send the FBI back to Treasury.
Andrew McCarthy AG !!!
How about a promotion to President Nunes?
“Id love to see Nunes as AG.”

I was never even aware of David Nunes before all this corruption was outed, but he is proving to be quite admirable! He doesn’t have a law degree, so I don’t know that he would qualify to be Attorney General. But he is terrific, and I hope he is appointed to something where he can take more action against the Deep State.
“He doesnt have a law degree, so I dont know that he would qualify to be Attorney General.”
That’s a bonus in my book. How many of those with law degrees are rabid lefties? I’d guess 90 plus percent.
