Special counsel Robert Mueller is now investigating whether President Trump attempted to oust Attorney General Jeff Sessions from his role last summer, according to a new report.

The Washington Post reports that Mueller’s team is now focusing on Trump’s private remarks and state of mind over the summer, when Trump was publicly slamming Sessions as “beleaguered” for not “looking into Crooked Hillary’s crimes.”

In a July interview, Trump blasted Sessions for his decision to recuse himself from the Russia investigation, saying it was "unfair" to him and that he would've likely picked another person to lead the Justice Department if he had known Sessions would recuse himself.

At the time, it was reported Trump was floating the possibility of replacing Sessions with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R).

Trump considers firing everyone if they don’t perform. He’s a CEO. That’s what he does. But, I can understand how a federal government worker never heard of such “radical” idea.

Time for Trump to pull the trigger on a “double barrel”, FIRE BOTH SESSIONS AND MUELLER!

Nuller has no business investigating Trump POST election decisions or appointees. He was put in place to investigate PRIOR election issues. He needs to be GONE!

There is no such thing as an attempt by the President to remove the AG. Either he does or he does not. There is no mechanism by which the President can attempt to remove the AG and fail.

Trump tried to oust Sessions

Uh, no he didn't, because no try is involved. It's simple.

Dear Jeff, thank you for your dedicated government. Bye and the nice folks who are carrying this letter will ensure that the door etc. etc. etc. Regards to your charming wife, DJT, President.

WTF??!!!???

What the everlivin F?

Trump could fire every cabinet member, every U.S. Attorney and every Ambassador tomorrow and there is nothing illegal about it.

IF this story is true, Mueller is even stupider than I thought he is.

“Well, since Trump is Sessions boss, this should be a big nothing burger.”

Should be...but isn’t. I thought it was only judges who “recused” themselves? Here we have a case where a person was appointed and confirmed to a specific job. Next thing you know he informs his boss ...oh by the way, I am not going to do said job. What a pinch of loaf.

Well, since Comey introduced the word “intent” into the mix of things (Clinton violated federal law, but she didn’t “intend” to, so therefore no harm, no foul), they are possibly trying to make the “intent” case on Trump v. Sessions...it will go nowhere, but it’s still drama made for CNN/MSNBC/etc

The mueller witch hunt is just that they were put in place with a false narrative of collusion and now they are running their own CIA FBA agency against Trump and all who oppose the deep state
