I've read so many comments here where people actually believed what the media said Trump said. It's pretty sad those commenters don't take the time to vet the media's lies and misinterpretations.

I NEVER believe anything in the media anymore. I ALWAYS verify with primary sources, in this case it’s so easy. The White House has a youtube channel, all the press briefings and meetings are posted. There is no excuse for anyone here on FR becoming lazy tools of the media elitists by not verifying with primary sources.

Exactly. I watched the video and did not hear whatever it is that some people are yelling about.

It takes some time to watch all of these events yourself. But each time you watch one, you can then ignore the hundred articles, blogs, and even FR posts from people lying about it.

Well I watched the whole thing on fox and this was a bad optic for him. People that didn’t watch are only going to get sound bites. Sitting down with gun ban Diane Feinstein was just sad. I heard him say i wanna get the guns from crazies first and then give them their due process. WTF

Yesterday was the first time I really question his gumball (words fall out of his mouth like a gumball machine) personality. I had a what the hell did he just say moment. BAD OPTICS.

Note how the dims have “learned their lesson” from the DACA talks. Schmucker and Pelousy were crowing about their meetings with President Trump to anyone who would point a camera in their direction. They were ecstatic and smiling and sure that they were going to get their way.

This time, they are much more reserved and seem to be holding their tongues as they wait for the other shoe to drop.

That alone should speak volumes.

What concerns you about what Trump said yesterday? Make sure the context is proper. That’s why I’m posting the hole video, it establishes context for a coherent opinion of yesterday’s meeting. I’ve seen a lot of out of context LIES about yesterday’s meeting posted here on FR. That is really sad.
