Excuse me did I go to DU by mistake? Seems like a conservative site would be cost conscience and concerned about tax $$$$. This kind of thinking got us to the 20 trillion mark. No oversight by the American people and an out of control bureaucratic government
I’m with you on fiscal responsibility. I’m frustrated with the wall not being built. I’ve supported anti illegal immigration causes for years and attended rallies, voted my ass off to get the best law and politician in and what the hell have we got? Millions more illegals and lip service. When your roof leaks you beg, borrow or steal to fix it.
I see the wall as an investment. Building it fast is a bigger priority than the costs associated with it. Even if it cost 50 billion, I am quite sure it will pay for itself in many ways just in a matter of years. Between their parasitic welfare scams, drain on schools and public services, voter fraud, and their thousands of felonies.
IF any state in the USA would put out to the public the ACTUAL costs of having these illegals in this country, the cost of the wall discussion would disappear like smoke.
The cost of keeping them out is far less than just the cost of the free benefits they all get.
The wall will pay for it self in no time, by giving Americans jobs back so that the money stays here. It will also reduce the illegals that we have to educate and give food stamps and welfare to. Those are just monetary cost. We will also get our culture and country back.
