Trump’s problem is that he already told congressional Republicans about his demands for gun control, so he’s trying to influence Republican members of Congress against the Second Amendment.
He is trying to persuade Republican members of Congress that he wants the minimum age, bureaucrat discretion without due process and for the reciprocity language to be taken out of a bill. He’s playing us, and so are his lackeys in coastal lefty states.

I’m going to start writing now. It’s time for all of those of us who respect our rights to start writing to the NRA, members of Congress, members of our state assemblies and to the general public.
We shouldn’t wait for another nasty surprise smothered in foreign subterfuge from foreign minds in foreign parts of our country.
You’re right! How many times people around here fall for his willingness to agree in principle with Dems but when push comes to shove, he holds the line. I think he’s done it more than 4 times on these big issues....many times over he’s done it and the Dems and media fall for it
