If Donald Trump finally follows through on his rage and fires Jeff Sessions, the image with this story will be printed in history books.
Tonight at 7:35pm, the Attorney General strode into a high-end Washington restaurant to dine with his deputy Rod Rosenstein and the Solicitor General Noel Francisco.
The symbolism was unmistakable: the three top ranking officials in the Justice Department appearing together in a show of solidarity on the same day Trump is publicly and privately raging about Sessions.
When Trump sees this photo he'll have to absorb a concept that some of his aides have been trying to impress upon him for nearly a year, since he first began telling them he wanted to get rid of Sessions.
The concept: Fire Sessions, then what next? Are you going to fire Rosenstein too? And then what after that?
Sources close to the situation say today feels different than Trump's usual rages. Sessions' allies are deeply concerned and Trump is totally fed up with his AG.
Trump has been taunting and publicly humiliating Sessions for months now, but his tweet this morning was as rough as any he's sent:
"Why is A.G. Jeff Sessions asking the Inspector General to investigate potentially massive FISA abuse. Will take forever, has no prosecutorial power and already late with reports on Comey etc. Isnt the I.G. an Obama guy? Why not use Justice Department lawyers? DISGRACEFUL!"
ALABAMA VALUES???
I was told how great this guy was last year.
Um, yeah, he’s a peach.
He’s a b.tch and I’ve been saying HE WILL turn on Trump because the powers that be have something on him.
Everyone has something in their closet.
Not everyone succumbs to the threats so easily.
Either that or he was a b.tch all along and fooled everybody down there.
If this former Red State senator wasn’t such a cowardly piece of #### Trump wouldn’t be having this problem.
LOTS of southerns told me what a GREAT AG he would be!!!
Fantastic!!!!
Yeah...
I wanted Rudy.
OMG!! He IS a swamp dweller!
lol
That story is not out of the question.
Sessions steps up to work with Trump, campaigns with him, accepts a big position in the administration, then stabs The President in the back.
That story is not out of the question.
I don't necessarily believe it, but things are getting 'hairy' as time goes by, and this supposed "beneficial to the good guys" Horowitz I.G. Report keeps getting delayed over and over again.
I know as an ardent Trump supporter, I am getting just a little depressed waiting for some substantial good news ....... news of all these sick criminals getting their due.
This country seems like it's on the edge.
Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, ya f-ing piece of crap.
Crappola like you sir are what is wrong with the federal gub mint.
Fire his worthless sorry ass Mr. Trump. Get someone in his position that will do his job instead of covering for the system.
I know folks think everything is coming unraveled, just stop and ask yourselves, what is happening that we are not intended to see? Our president has used every turmoil, and caused some of it himself to its utmost advantage. I don’t believe ANYTHING can be taken on face value anymore. Just hold on my friends because I believe this storm is just warming up and when the dust clears everyone is going to be asking themselves wtf did I miss?!
Now THAT is a wild conspiracy theory!
The next thing you know someone will come up with the crazy idea that an American president would sell our MIRV ICBM technology to China
and get a sneaky, under the table, kickback in return.
Or that a Secretary of State would manipulate the sale of US Uranium ore deposits to Russia for a kickback.
Or that democrats and republicans would let a foreign born, non-citizen be sworn in as president!

LOL! You're a funny guy with a good memory. Billy Jeff Clinton, his Beastly wife, and Obama. That's great.
As I said, I don't believe my "conspiracy scenario", but it's ugly out there now.
We need some action.
Who the hell are you, newb?
NOTHING takes precedence over our ability to defend ourselves, particularly since weve gotten the true measure of what the left is willing to do to us.
Get this through your supercilious skull; a real conservative does not negotiate away the ability to fight. So take your potty mouth tantrums back to Facebook, loser.
Remember when we heard so much about the solid record and unquestionable integrity of John Roberts?
The one who became SCOTUS Chief Justice and discovered that the Obamacare penalty was actually a tax?
Some of you folks are so funny - hunting for anything that can be made into an excuse to dribble bile and whine and moan and flog your own backs ....
More likely scenario.
Someone got a picture of these guys together (When?) in public an d made up a story to go with it so a bunch of people would click on the link and generate ad revenue for the “news” site.
I don’t think Trump should fire Sessions I think he should move him somewhere else and replace him with another cabinet member who has already been confirmed.
Sessions is a double traitor. One, we have possibly the worst AG ever and second we lost a solid repub seat in Alabama.
Sessions is reprehensible.
I wanted Rudy.
—
I did, too. But Rudy didn’t want the job.
I guess he feels more comfortable hawking some garbage about the “dark web!” on TV.
Rosenstein should be dining alongside Hellary, Comey, Mueller and Obama in GITMO.
If Sessions wanted to make a point, he proved beyond a shadow of a doubt which side he’s on. And it’s the side many of us have known all along.
They should have been dining on take out from their offices, not parading around DC at expensive restaurants on my dime.
My dinner last was two scrambled eggs and a glass of water. Total cost 20 cents. That wouldn’t cover the tip they left the guy in the restroom who handed them a towel and spritzed them with cologne. I’m beyond disgusted with their grandiose.
