President Trump on Wednesday voiced support for confiscating guns from certain individuals deemed to be dangerous, even if it violates due process rights.
I like taking the guns early, like in this crazy mans case that just took place in Florida ... to go to court would have taken a long time, Trump said at a meeting with lawmakers on school safety and gun violence.
Take the guns first, go through due process second, Trump said.

Sorry, Trump, but cops must obey the LAW. As must YOU! Trump, you CANNOT ban Bumpfire stocks by Executive Order. Everyone will IGNORE it, and you will look FOOLISH.
Yes I know all the obvious problems with this, but does anyone not wish they had seized that crazy kid’s guns? Seems to me that should not have violated due process. Insane and death threats to shoot up a school should equal arrest and take his guns.
Outrageous. Totally unconstitutional.
Democrats say âTrump is literally Hitler!â and then insist that all guns should be confiscated by the guy running the government (Trumphitler).
Their was ample opportunity to address the issues with the Florida psycho way before the carnage without resorting to stupid pronouncements such as suspending due process rights.
Government failed up and down the line on this including when it was actually occurring.
Er, Mr. President, that’s the reason we want to keep our guns.
Major faux pas
Don, Jr., needs to have a talk with Dear Ol’ Dad.
Trolling trolling trolling,
keep the libs a rolling,
then well watch their polling,
troll on...schadenfreude!
I’m pretty sure this guy was on record more than once for threatening to shoot people, even threatening to shoot up a school (which he eventually did). In this case, he should have been arrested and his guns taken away as a condition of his release on probation or while pending trial.
Holy Shit. That’s all I can say
My understaning is that there was plenty of due process available re that FL lunatic, but the local LEO jerkoffs, etc chose to ignore all of it.
By definition, if you "take the gun first" you have abandoned due process - and once you have abandoned it you cannot "un-abandon" it. When a particular act by the government violates due process, then where that particular act is concerned due process cannot be retroactively reinstated. The victim may be able to be compensated, but the violation of the particular violation of due process will still have occurred.
I think it was Rush who said that “every time Government fails it grows larger and more powerful.”
Thanks for nothing, Mr. Trump.
Its hard to imagine with all the trouble this guy was causing, there wasn’t some basis to disarm him. He was clearly a mental case.
Watched Senator Murphy from Conn. yap about how “the data” show that we have the most gun violence of any industrialized nation in the world - didn’t explain that there’s a Parkland every month on the streets of Chicago - that the “gun violence” we experience is almost all from illegally obtained - via theft or blackmarket purchase - fire arms and not from legally bought weapons, least of all by “mentally ill’ people - makes my head hurt......
Trump is not defending USConstitution.
Worrying, since if you do not defend USConstitution, you are an enemy of it.
Is he flipping out?
Geeze, if you screw up, would you at least clean them and throw in a box of ammo when you give them back?
