I agree, but there has been some recent MSM punditry saying he might not run. I think after the CPAC speech this is another way of cementing his power over the GOP, gearing up for the 2018 mid-terms that he is clearly going to work hard at, and sending a message to the republicrat wing of congress.

I’m old enough to have had the honor of voting for both RR and DJT.
Reagan in 84 was my first vote. Driving from college home to vote cause I forgot to get an absentee ballot was also sort of a first date with a certain young lady.
She ended up marrying me and we got a great President. Win all around.
But, even with that, I’m more proud of my vote to Trump even though he got walloped in my state. (like I care about their feelings)

Interesting he would announce this now. I wonder what calculations went into the timing of it. Is he sending a message to Mueller? To Schumer? Is he setting the Dems up so that they go hyperbolic in their TDS sickness making the midterms a referendum on Trump versus impeachment?
