Just curious....who would have issued a stand-down order? I have my doubts the Sheriff or the police-chief would have been standing there in the situation room and issued the order....so my question revolves around some process-list existing and the command center going precisely by the list and requiring absolute control before allowing people in.

Too many things going wrong - supposedly 4 deputies that wouldn’t go in, (they could have ignored the order), plus someone issued the stand down order. Add to that ignoring the complaints, Israel’s repeated lying about the facts of the incident...

It’s not just one officer, who Israel wants to throw under the bus. So far we’re up to a have dozen, including Israel himself, who are complete screw-ups.

Not defending the Broward Cowards but I do recall hearing one of the Coral Gables officers saying tha5 he arrived on scene and grabbed his rifle and started running toward the gunfire and was picked up by a security guard in a golf cart that took him to the right building faster than he could run.

That being said, it sounds like the Coral Gables Police May have had rifles and the Broward officers only had pistols. If that is the case we should definitely be looking at why the difference.
