Reality television personality Rick Harrison of the History Channels Pawn Stars lamented that too many high school and college students in America believe capitalism is bad and that the federal government can afford to pay for everything.
Kids come out of high school today, they think corporations are bad. They think capitalism is bad. The No. 1 thing in the world that has brought people out of poverty is capitalism, Harrison said at the Conservative Political Action Conference outside D.C. on Friday.
We have a generation of young people who think the government can just pay for everything and they have no understanding of how government works and who we are, why we are and why this country has become such a great country, he added. You have kids in college who really think this is a bad country trust me, Ive been to India, this is a great country.
Harrison, co-owner of the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas, told the audience that he would not have been able to overcome his battle with childhood epilepsy and succeed in any other country.

I am accused by Friends and Family in pushing my Political views.
I tell them I am only pushing Common Sense, Reason and the miracle that is the foundation of our Republic, the Constitution of the United States of America.
To them, that is pushing Politics.
The charges against the Chumster were dropped. I think there were some obvious Fourth Amendment violations by the Police.
>>>Too many of the kids coming out of school are Chumleys<<<
Chumley is an Actor and he has a bunch of money in the Bank.
He also loves Firearms.
Just sayin’...
Thx ...
He’ll now be investigated, as all the liberals will hear is “Kill the liberals”. The word logic won’t compute anyway!
Too many of the kids coming out of school are Hoggs.
>
The fallacy of this approach is assuming young, mutton-headed liberals are capable of understanding logic.
>
IMO, the DANGER is presuming (more hoping I’d guess) the Leftists indoctrination doesn’t border (past) zealotry.
Those willing to listen to reason and logic can be swayed. BELIEFS (aka brain-washing) are *much* harder to break-through\change.
The man knows his capitalism.
Using logic...... How spocklike of you
LOL!! Although, Chumley may not be that bad.
I know Chum. It is not an act, in fact he tones it down for the show. He can talk about some subjects in a well thought out and professional manner, but the real Chum usually leaks out in short order. I go to the shop every time I am in Vegas. The show has made it hard to even gain admittance.
We went after the show first came on. None of the main characters were there.
They made so many of these things that they’re very common and so not worth very much - on the other hand they didn’t make very many of these things so not very many people want them and they’re not worth very much - so I’ll give you.......
True, they are seeming only around on the days of filming. One of the guys at the counter told me once that they are “”in the back”. Before the show Chum waited on me a couple of times and the Old Man bought some items from me years ago.
