I just joined for 5 years. I was a member 25 years ago when I was on the college rifle team.

In college, I took a "Problem Analysis and Decision Making" course.

Tuesdays, it was lecture. Thursdays, it was pistol marksmanship.

I am a life member and upgraded to an endowment member just to keep Hillary out of office. I still support the NRA, even though I live in California and the Courts have failed to prevent unconstitutional laws from taking affect. I almost feel like I live in another country, even though the central valley is still very conservative. The NRA is still the largest target of all antigun groups and media and they should be supported as they defend our rights and freedom. Do not let your state end up like California. Do not let the nation end up like California. Join the NRA and help the NRA to undue the damage already inflicted on California, New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

I am also a member of TSRA, Texas State Rifle Association. I receive no phone calls and very few mailings. Most all communications is via emails.

I don't think the word has percolated down to the rank and file yet - I told one of their guys on Saturday that I wasn't dealing with Enterprise anymore because I'm an NRA life member and he was floored to learn what his company had announced. Turned out he's a member too. That's got to sting a little.

All I can say is try to be gentle with the folks behind the counter or on the other end of the phone, because this decision was made and announced inside the corporate media echo chamber. Looks like the fight is on and not all of their people are going to be happy about the side that was chosen for them.

I joined as a lifetime member after the 2012 shooting in that theater made leftists freak out about the NRA. I get no phone calls and only get a few pieces of mail a year, including the voting packet. Maybe their marketing practices have changed over the years?
