If it Leicester was the place, could be an old bomb that finally cooked off.

The people of Leicester on Twitter are insulted that just because theirs is a diverse city, people suspect terror.
No one seems to know for sure yet what the cause is.

Yeah. And in The Angry Silence by John Burke, “being sent to Coventry” was an idiomatic expression meaning ostracism, based on that decision by Churchill to not tell Coventry they were about to be bombed.
