The announcements by MetLife and Symantec mean four companies have cut ties with the NRA this week. On Thursday, First National Bank of Omaha and Enterprise Rent-A-Car cut ties with the NRA as well. The First National Bank of Omaha announced that it would no longer offer NRA Visa Cards and Enterprise Rent-A-Car announced it would no longer offer discounts to NRA members.

I told him the truth that Enterprise was my car rental company of choice but unless they reversed this decision, I will never use them again. I asked him if he had gotten many complaints and he said they've been slammed all day. I told him that this has only aggravated and offended law abiding gun owners and was as stupid as Roger Goodell's NFL's decision which has driven off thousands of fans.
He said Enterprise hasn't ever made political decisions like this and didn't understand why they risked offending so many customers. He assured me that they are keeping track of the complaints and hoped it would be reversed!
So , call, FReepers, call them at 314-512-5000!
I rarely call, but I will.
I’m on it.
Good news for Hertz Budget and Avis
Guess the ‘tards never realize that each and every one of these “news bits” aids the NRA.
Not getting the guns.
Ever.
It’s always good to know who I need to add to my blacklist
(Enterprise, etc).
I will not be renewing our family subscription to Symantec.
PC Matic will now be getting our business.

Are they being stupid over this issue?
I don’t do business anymore with Symantec or Met Life. Those relationships ended long ago.
I never did business with Omaha Bank.
I used to do business with Enterprise—but as of today, they’ve lost my business. They can shove it hard and deep.
Enterprise is run by a chick. That’s what happens when a company is run by emotion rather than business judgment.
The head of the bank in Omaha is a guy, but he’s a Harvard grad, and we all know what that means. MetLife guy is, as well.
Symantic is run by an Australian, so his anti-gun instincts should be no surprise.
So not a red-blooded American male in the batch.
PCMatic is a Sean Hannity supporter.
(-:
Per CNBC and the comPost, Hertz has joined in.
Hertz dumped out, too.
I have changed my most recent car rental from Alamo (they are owned by Enterprise) to Dollar Rental Car.
Enterprise owns National, Alamo and of course Enterprise.
I hope they recant. OR go out of business. Either one will be fine by me.
I wonder if anyone from Congress and/or Fedzilla promised any companies bailing some federal largesse, like some nice, fat gov’t contracts...
I called enterprise. I rented a SUV last week for over $1000. I told them to cancel my National Emerald executive membership.
Enterprise Rent-A-Carwill no longer recieve my business.
These companies are ostracizing the law-abiding. Have they no shame?
These are spineless, worthless companies, sure, but still.
