Well... recreational use of cannabis is legal in 9 states (Alaska, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Nevada, Oregon, Vermont, and Washington) plus the District of Columbia, and decriminalized in another 13 states plus the U.S. Virgin Islands.

So does that mean if you are flying between these places you dont have to dump your pot?

And I can recall way back when there were pot sniffing dogs in airports. Not anymore - those poor pooches would be flustered these days with so much ganga around.

Actually, recreational use of cannabis is still illegal in all 50 states under federal law. So no, I would not recommend trying to carry some through TSA screening in any airport regardless of where you are flying from or to.

Interstate Commerce is controlled by the Feds. Check with TSA!
