Well said, again! We all can be virtual commandos but being there in that situation is something none of us know how we’d react and how our reaction could affect others.
We shouldn’t be putting the blame on the people involved in the actual chaos. People do/react how they do whether we agree as we sit here not involved. It’s wonderful when there’s a hero, but sometimes there’s no hero.

I told another poster how I would react. I’m not sure I wouldn’t have acted differently than I said I would, because I’m not really all that afraid of dying anymore.
There are other things to think about though.
Not every kid in a classroom is going to find a closet. They’ll be around the perimeter of the room.
If you walk in, there are almost bound to be kids right behind the shooter. Then what?
There you are face to face with a guy who has no concern who he kills, and you can’t take a chance on killing kids.
