If it’s an AR-15, shouldn’t it be 15 and over?
To: Alter Kaker
so then no one under 21 should be voting right?
No one under 21 should be able to peaceably assemble right?
Does Senator Roberts know that there are thousands of 18 - 20 year olds handling evil black rifles everyday without incident. They are called Soldiers and Marines. Does he want to take their right away to buy an inferior version of the M-16 they are carrying?
To: Alter Kaker
Okay, then. No one under 21 gets to vote.

I’m generally not adamantly opposed to this but I would also change voting age to 21 as well.
Regardless, the age of a shooter is irrelevant in obtaining guns illegally so this is yet another gun law that punishes law abiding citizens.
To: Alter Kaker
So when a 21yo is shooting up a school, will they raise the limit to 22?

Our military hands M-16s and a heck of a lot more to 18 year olds every day of the week.

No one under 21 should be in the military then either.
I’m not interested in your idiotic non-solutions, senator.

Unless they are serving their first 2d or 3d tour in Afghanistan Iraq Korea or SYRIA - right Senator?
Should we be asking 18 yr olds to die for their country, Senator?

So you could be in the US Army carrying an M16, but be unable to own an AR15?.

"I dont know why anybody would want an AR-15 unless theyre going to take one out on the shooting range." Hunting feral pigs, prairie dogs, coyotes and deer comes to immediate mind, and I live in New Jersey.
Does this guy actually come from a farm state? Has he ever been back there during the last 20 years?

Then we should raise the voting age to 21 as well.
You can’t have it both ways, Senator.

They can't legally smoke, drink or purchase a pistol right now.
While we're at it, maybe under-21s should have a parent's permission to enlist in the military.
Or vote.

Fine. Just go buy a mini-14. Wood stock. Don’t look nearly as evil.
