In essence, the proposition of using unsworn ordinary citzens as the armed defender of the school propert and its contents is idiotic.

Disagree 100%. The teachers are already charged with the responsibility of providing for safety in education for the children while the children are in their care. They are already subject to lawsuits. The schools already purchase insurance against safety issues that arise. We already require continuing education for our teachers paid for by our tax dollars. Get the teachers educated on responsible gun use and threat mitigation using the continuing education program. And get them armed. Now.

So, you are going to dictate to teachers and other school employees that they must be willing to shoot whatever of their students has a bad atitude? Looks like your idea belongs in a dictatorship, not one where a choice of philosophy is viable.

Nope teachers have to pay for their own continuing education. That does however lead to higher pay in most cases.
