I never said ‘give teachers guns’ like was stated on Fake News @CNN & @NBC. What I said was to look at the possibility of giving “concealed guns to gun adept teachers with military or special training experience - only the best. 20% of immediately fire back if a savage sicko came to a school with bad intentions. Highly trained teachers would also serve as a deterrent to the cowards that do this. Far more assets at much less cost than guards. A ‘gun free’ school is a magnet for bad people. ATTACKS WOULD END!
History shows that a school shooting lasts, on average, 3 minutes. It takes police & first responders approximately 5 to 8 minutes to get to site of crime. Highly trained, gun adept, teachers/coaches would solve the problem instantly, before police arrive. GREAT DETERRENT!
If a potential ‘sicko shooter’ knows that a school has a large number of very weapons talented teachers (and others) who will be instantly shooting, the sicko will NEVER attack that school. Cowards won’t go there...problem solved. Must be offensive, defense alone won’t work!
I will be strongly pushing Comprehensive Background Checks with an emphasis on Mental Health. Raise age to 21 and end sale of Bump Stocks! Congress is in a mood to finally do something on this issue - I hope!

I would like to see firearm training and qualification/certification as a pre-requisite for anyone pursuing a degree in education and applying for a position in public education.
Institutionalize it. Take down the murderous no gun zone signs. Have teachers and staff working in schools who know how to safely carry and operate a firearm. The side benefit over time would be an appreciation and respect for our 2A rights that would influence students in a positive way.
Of course, that’s fantasy in today’s environment because the left owns academia.

Sane people have always said that schools need a resource officer (real POST, armed, uniformed, works for the police department cop) AND some trained concealed carriers. This is what the simunition simulations say is your best shot. Lots of people have offered to train teachers for free. The liberals have fought very hard against this and honestly the blood is on THEIR hands for fighting against school safety.
Sure raise the age to buy most guns to 21. We already said they can’t be trusted with pistols alcohol and rental cars. But raise the voting age too. Anyone who, for any reason, can’t be trusted with a semi rifle, is not trustworthy enough to vote.
I am, like everyone, very concerned about the concept of gov regulating rate of fire of gun parts that might tend to increase it but NFA, like it or not, is the law and bump-stocks violate the spirit of the law. If Trump or DOJ or congress or someone issued the guidance that the term “trigger pull” in NFA means conscious and purposeful voluntary movement of your finger in order to move the trigger then BATFE could say a bump stock or similar device is NFA.

However, exceptions exist in 17 states where laws have been passed that allow for weapons to be carried in school if and when approved by certain school officials.
In Mississippi, for instance, one may carry a weapon into a school upon receiving approval from the school board, as noted by an NBC News report from 2013.
Just to be clear, at the time there were 18 states where such exceptions existed, including California. That changed when a bill signed into law last October by California Gov. Jerry Brown went into effect this January.

I’m not so sure that arming teachers is a good idea. Since most teachers are dhimmiecrats and a good number of those are flat out marxists arming them may be a danger to conservative students. Consider the fact that most of these mass murderers have also been dhimmiecrats and marxists.
On Greg Gutfeld’s show last Saturday Tyrus had one of the best ideas I have heard. Hire returning Veterans to guard the schools which will put their training to good use. We have “Sky Marshals”, why not “School Marshals”?

I notice most of the “kids” who are “spontaneously” wanting to march and demand something should be done about school shootings have Jewish surnames. The irony is dripping that many of them their great grandparents had relatives who as my grandmother used to say “Went up the chimney”. So many willing to abrogate their responsible of surviving on the state. There have been numerous explanations as why European\American Jewry is so willing to be compliant and “kiss the state’s as*” as to prevent persecution. A failed strategy which ended up with 6 million dead and they packed their own luggage for their murderers. What ever happened to “Never again”?..now it’s “Never side with white Protestants on anything”.
