It’s hard to blame them. This last season has shown that there are still plenty of fools willing to pay out that kind of money for vicarious entertainment.
Think of it as a season pass for home viewing. The money for last season was already sunk. The real test will be when the demand for renewal, which isn’t for a while, takes a nosedive.
