Don’t you think it is important for the Supreme Court to step in when the Legislature screwed up the job? We see that every day. Good grief. The Supreme Court is the only reason we still have a 2nd Amendment with Hellar.

No.

We have an elected legislature who is the sole authority for this change.

Furthermore, we don't have a 2A because of Heller. Heller didn't apply anywhere except in Washington DC, and the Federal Lands. The decision that incorporated Heller against the States was McDonald v. Chicago.

Neither of those decisions would have been necessary had the Supreme Court not meddled in the first place, in United States v. Miller (1958) in which the Supreme Court improperly--and deliberately--misunderstood the application of "militia" in 2A.

Courts need to keep their noses out of things that are none of their f****ing business.

Legislature screwed up the job

They didn't screw it up. The Dem governor didn't like it so he vetoed it. That is not the legislature screwing it up.

You may think that Philadelphia only has 2 districts but you are ignoring PA-13 where they added eastern Montco to the third Philadelphia district (or rather added Philadelphia to PA-13 which was Montco) which dilutes the votes of those Montco voters.

It is the job of the courts to determine whether or not the action(s) of the legislature are legal/constitutional. It is not the job of the courts to do the job of the legislature.

The supreme court told Washington, DC, that their gun laws were unconstitutional. The supreme court did not rewrite the gun laws of Washington DC.
