The political benefits as well as the simultaneous judicial benefits of attacking not now but before November seems to be a winning play. Pardon me if I find cold comfort in that idea. Such brilliant strategies never seem to come to pass for our side.
The plot to overthrow our duly elected president is deep and wide. Even with the swiftest justice, it will take years to root out the worst of the rot in our federal government.
An October Surprise isn't going to cut it this time. The public will need to see revelations of massive, widespread wrongdoing on the part of the Democrats, from now until November, for it to make any difference.

If Sundance is correct, Trump and Sessions are going for something better than an October surprise: given the 10,000+ sealed indictments, they have enough material to do significant damage to thousands of our enemies between now and November. The media can spin it as anti-Trump anyway they want, but they will be defending corrupt enemies who will be politically and legally impotent against Team Trump in November.

I agree. What it will take is a steady and continual drip of corruption revelations. Every week from now until November, have some new smelly thing drip out, until people are disgusted with the swamp.
