Student survivors of the horrific Parkland, FL school shooting spoke on multiple Sunday shows today, and one of the students had a very direct message for President Trump.
Trump claimed yesterday that Democrats “didn’t want to” solve the gun problem. David Hogg, who said the day after the shooting that “children will continue to die if we don’t take a stand now,” looked into the camera on CBS’ Face the Nation and said this to the President:
“President Trump, you control the House of Representatives, you control the Senate, and you control the executive. You haven’t taken a single bill for mental health care or gun control and passed it. And that’s pathetic. We’ve seen a government shutdown, we’ve seen tax reform, but nothing to save our children’s lives. Are you kidding me? You think now is the time to focus on the past and not the future to prevent the death of thousands of other children? You sicken me.”

The same ones that call Trump, Hitler, want him to have all the guns..gotta love the irony in that..I dont want ANY govt having all the guns, not Obama’s Govt, not Trump’s Govt, not ANY Govt..its MY right to protect myself..the same buffoons who say “My Body my choice” are the same ones who say “Give up your guns”

Here’s what I know.
Trump is surging in the polls
The latest Congressional Generic polling has the Rep tied with Dems and what that actually means is the Dems don’t take the House and will lose several Senate seats.
Trump’s tax reform is a big hit and will become an even bigger hit as more and more people see their take-home pay increase.
Latest polling also shows that voters by double digits favor Republicans handling our National Security. They favor Republicans by high single digits in the handling of the economy. And while trail Democrats on healthcare that once significant double digits lead traditionally enjoyed by them has shrunk to just 4 points.
The DNC is dead broke and in debt while the RNC is breaking records in their fund raising.
Despite the frantic spinning by the liberals and their media pals, The recent indictments of 13 Russians is a definite plus for Trump.
Just like they had their guts ripped out of them by their crippling loss to Trump after believing their gal Crooked couldn’t lose they are beginning to sense the very same thing coming at them again. Their response is to double and triple down on their hate filled rhetoric. They are terrified and it shows plainly to anyone paying attention.
What does it say about a Party that uses emotionally battered teenagers to rail against a President because of a tragedy that could and should have been prevented by a government agency with whom the responsibility lies and which has admitted to having “dropped the ball”?
Trump is not nearly as unpopular as the frantic Liberals make him out to be. We saw that by the reaction to his SOTU speech. If the Party sticks with talking about our strong economy and all the benefits of the tax reform WHICH EVERY DEMOCRAT VOTED AGAINST!, I believe we do well in November.
It seems that these kids have found out that they can get their 5 minutes of fame just by bashing Trump.
Yes. They will continue to die. Of gunshot wounds. Of stab wounds. Of various overdoses. Of car accidents. Of diseases. And so on.
This little leftist has apparently put the Leftist mantras into his toolbox, and the supposed power of "Do it for the children/women/poverty-stricken/(insert whatever here). Well, little Leftists grow up to be big ones, that is for sure.

Little late aren’t you. Please tell me what Obama did that would have stropped this issue? In 2012 when Sandy Hook happened on his watch, he issued 23 executive orders to stop gun violence. None of them were effective on this one any more than any one in our history. Obama. the liar in chief, had his political grand stand play do nothing.
So blaming Trump for not being in office for two terms and doing nothing, like Obama, and trying to compare it to Trump’s one year, is a bit of a political grand stand, too, don’t you think? And not real consistent, either.

That’s too bad. I had been somewhat impressed with the kids I have seen on TV so far.
The safest thing for parents to do is move into a conservative community or even a red state. Private schools that still teach civics would also be a plus. All public schools do is teach all students to hate America and all white kids to also hate themselves.

Well, good gosh - the last thing that any of us want to do is “sicken” a know nothing teenager! He’ll go through his entire life that way - mouthing off, making a good democrat without a clue to what really needs to be done!!
