By that logic…perhaps they should abandone Jerusalem and in particular the Temple Mount.
Before the 20th Century, and the resettlement of Jews in Palestine, the Dome of the Rock, the Al Aqsa mosque and Jerusalem itself, had no importance in Islam. Only when the Jews started to restore the place—and attracted Arabs there to work for them—have they cared about Israel.
Clearly their care for Jerusalem is motivated by ENVY.
The idea that it is the “3rd holiest place in the Muslim world” is nonsense.
