A Hamilton County, Ohio, judge on Friday gave custody of a transgender teen to his grandparents rather than his parents, allowing them to make medical decisions regarding his transition.

Correct, all part of the social-Marxists’ decades old plan to disintegrate the American family and common Christian morality. And they have been winning.
There’s so much wrong with this.
You can bet that if the Grandparents agreed with the parents to block Trans drugging, they would not have gotten custody.
This only spreads the problem out within the family.
This boy will be 18 soon. At that time, he should be able to make such decisions at that time. Not sure which insurance policy would cover him then. He may need to apply for medicaid.

So in other words, if you don’t engage in permissive parenthood, courts will take your children away from you now.
She also encouraged Ohio lawmakers to create legislation giving judges a framework in which they can evaluate a patient’s right to gender therapy.
The only “Framework” a quisling, morally Bankrupt, Child Molesting Judge like this needs is , the “framework” necessary to support 12 feet of Rope.
It is past time for torches, pitchforks, tar, feathers and rails. Time for some serious old-school teaching moments.
What if the grandparents say “no” too?
The article makes it vague, but the real question is: who brought up this custody case? The article says “the parents wanted custody”, implying that they didn’t already have custody of their own child. Did the hospital “team” sue on the 17 year old’s behalf to tear the family apart, all to keep worshipping the LGBT agenda?
The teen was admitted to Children's Hospital's psychiatric unit in November 2016 after emailing a crisis hotline. Based on what he told doctors, the hospital refused to return him to the custody of his parents and contacted Hamilton County Job and Family Services.
Also, “That diagnosis rather quickly became one of gender dysphoria,” Hendon said, adding she was concerned that the director of the hospital’s Transgender Health Clinic said 100 percent of patients seen by the clinic “who present for care are considered to be appropriate candidates for continued gender treatment.”
All this fuss and money on lawyers for someone who can decide for himself in a few months. Smells like the grandparents have money and will pay for the chop shop.
Believe me, there are many families not worth saving
Not that I agree with the decision (I don’t, of course), but it seems to me that if the parents had actually taken their role seriously, this problem wouldn’t even exist.
Provided the grandparents agree that he/she/it can have the operation and pretend to be the other sex.
If you try to stop the dismemberment and mutilation of your kids, the f*ckfaces take your kids away from you.
Any teen who expresses a desire for transgenderism should get extensive psychiatric and psychological evaluation and therapy prior to any physical or hormonal treatment.
While the advocates of transgenderism agree that they have a sky high suicide rate, their assumption that this is *because* of the rejection of their desire to become transgender, an assumption that is clearly *wrong*. They are suicidal *because* they are suicidal, and staying the same or changing their gender will *not* change this mental state.
That is, just because they *assume* that their mental state is due to being “the wrong gender”, it isn’t. And many who go through hormonal therapy and surgery discover this after the fact, and realize to their horror that gender change had nothing to do with their mental state. Far too often they want to *return* to their former gender, having realized their problems are still there, or worse.
While the young adult is almost 18, this is dangerous for ALL parents.
When there are vicious activists who say that a 5 year old should be allowed to cross-dress and 9 year olds should get life altering medication though they are years from being allowed to drive or have sex, this sets the precedent that sane parents who say no will have their children TAKEN.
Couple of issues:
* if your child identifies as the opposite sex, schools and political activists will work against the parents to promote this idea, including hiding the issue from parents as long as possible
* in some states, it is ILLEGAL to get counseling other than confirming the gender dysphoria - which limits parents’ ability to fight this mental disorder
* if a girl is autistic, and essentially isn’t a girly girl, they’re several times more likely to be told they’re really a guy so let’s transition ... by counselors who think this helps the child
This 17 year old can’t buy a firearm from a dealer. If he’s not old enough, mature enough, sane enough, to be allowed to buy a firearm if he wishes, how can he be old enough, mature enough, sane enough, to be allowed to act on such a life change? (Apparently, custody was given to the grandparents so he could act on his decision.)
