Whipping a kid is not a “lower class” thing. That kind of thinking is one of many reasons we are in the pickle we are in. Nothing got my attention better than the sound of that military webbing belt whistling through Daddy’s belt loops. All of us turned out fine. I raised my son the same way and he is a fine man. I hardly consider flag rank military officers lower class.

Yeah, well, none of them have went on shooting rampages yet. Of course we didnt live in a trailer house and I dont drink Schlitz beer either so I knew I had some lee-way.
Both of mine got Corporal punishment when they needed it.
They both graduated college with honors. and both have very good full time jobs now.
