U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested 212 people and served notices to businesses in the Los Angeles area, in a five-day operation that ended Thursday, the federal agency said.
Of those arrested, 195 have criminal convictions, were issued final orders of removal but did not leave the country, or re-entered illegally after being removed, ICE officials said.

xiThat logic help up the Alaskan pipeline for 40 years. Also seems to have stopped Anwar until this year.

Am afraid you sorta missed the point.
YES, only 200 out is unacceptable.
YES, 200 or more in is unacceptable.
BUT
We are better off with the 200 out rather than in and just make sure it grows from there.
You (somewhat) sound like the school that says no sense drilling there, it will be 10 years before we see a drop of oil
While very true, that was said 40 years ago and gets repeated every 5 or so years IF we had went against antis 40 years ago we wouldnt be having ALL the problems we have today.
EVEN ONE IS BETTER THAN NONE

Agree to disagree. Yet another (too many to frickin’ count) of govt, being govt, and bailing out the boat with a hole in bow.
You PLUG the leak (go after govt\biz for aiding/abetting...terminate the welfare state, fine and shut-down, make it HURT) and the criminals (IMO) will self-deport.
How much taxpayer $$$ was used to ‘flush out’ 200 head over a WEEK? What’s the avg. violator count (apprehended 2x, 5x, 20x)? Anything more than ONCE, it’s *not working*.
Turn off the spigot and stop pissing away the taxpayers’ property.
I wholeheartedly agree with you.
A journey of 1000 miles starts with ONE step.
Most ANYTHING is useless until they find a way to PLUG the hole on the borders.
Be it drones, land mines, Wall, Warthogs or a combination of all, as good as sending them out is, it is a lesson in futility if they are back in LA before the bus gets back to get another load.
Maybe fly them all to Mexico City will be a start. <: <:
Definitely need to step HARD on the hirers, get them off the dole and yes, they will go back voluntarily before they get on ‘the list’...
Remember ‘we’ are dealing with a Govt mindset that says they can’t easily roust out 20 mill illegals but going door to door to round up weapons is ‘simple’ (WELL the person that said it is simple surely is simple)
We are on the same page or at least the LAST PAGE.
You’re exactly right about that!!!!!
Correct, also the fact that they are serving businesses is a great move. Turn employing illegal aliens into a big financial risk would be a terrific move.

Sorry, but ‘horse\cow already out barn door’.
Start at the GOVT end, the pool for employers dries up. THEN go after biz that continues.
Not saying Step 1, 2, & 3 (round up & deport) can’t be done concurrently, but the onus MUST remain where the deficit lies: GOVT not doing ITS J-O-B, if not aiding/abetting in lawlessness.
If the US really wanted to ramp up self deportation, create an additional 10% revenue tax on any company that does not use the E-Verify system for employment checking.
In addition, require a Sr executive or owner of every company that files taxes, to sign an affirmation, under penalty of perjury, to the IRS that the company only hires US Citizens or those with valid work permits and validates that status using the e-Verify system. Prosecute under federal law, any executive who falsified their statement.
Jobs for illegals will dry up over night.
“Build. The. @#$%^&* Wall!”
I say “launch the wall of Predator drones”
All illegal aliens are criminals. Deport them all.
