Mueller Is Losing Flynn, so He Indicts Russians

With former national security adviser Michael Flynn's guilty plea likely to be set aside, the indictments announced yesterday by Deputy A.G. Rod Rosenstein, in tenor, scope, and timing, are a desperate attempt by Mueller to save his crumbling collusion investigation from complete failure.

"There is no allegation in this indictment that any American had any knowledge."

"[There is] no allegation in the indictment of any effect on the outcome of the election." –Rod Rosenstein

June 23, 2013. President Obama announces the appointment of James Comey to succeed Robert Mueller as head of the FBI.

There are some easily seen exigencies in the Mueller indictments of 13 Russians late Friday afternoon.

Why release the indictments on a Friday afternoon? Friday is the traditional day in politics to announce something you want people to pay little attention to and quickly forget. This is doubly true when it is a holiday weekend. Monday is Presidents' Day.

Friday afternoon at the beginning of a three-day weekend is probably one of the worst times to release something big, something that could shake to its core the very foundation of the Trump administration, because most Americans will pay little attention to this beyond reading the headlines – at least until Tuesday, when they return to work.

If the indictment was anything more than propaganda it would have been filed and sealed months ago.

The date of the indictment tells us that.

It also tells us that these guys are dirty.

I suspect Rosenstein ordered Mueller to do this as insurance that the investigation continues.

I want to see these guys’ texts, phone calls, and emails.

“I am left wondering just how this can continue, when night after night multiple legal sources on FNC say that “collusion isn’t a crime.” So how is there any thought of any indictments for an action (collusion), that even if true, is not a criminal act?”

Mueller was never going to take a collusion case to court against the Trump campaign. He was going to hand out enough legal speeding-tickets on small, seemingly related offenses to enough people surrounding Trump to create the impression of ‘collusion’ in the minds of Democrat & Independent voters. Heck most Democrats in the Media already believe that ‘collusion’ is a crime. All Mueller is doing is putting a few data points out there so that the Media can “connect the dots” and seal the deal.

This is all about keeping the DNC from going into free-fall collapse.

Fylnn was never in danger, Fylnn went deep dark cover to root out the deep state, he worked with Mueller as Mueller has been working for Trump.

Mueller met with Trump for 3 hours before he was appointed.

Mueller, Rosenstein and a whole host of other dirty players involved in the Russia-Trump charade should have to pay back to the American people the cost of this disingenuous investigation.

Collusion was used as a purpose for the investigation. Mueller is going for obstruction of justice.

When the investigation finally comes to an end, with absolutely nothing to show for it, can the US taxpayer file a suit against, Comey, Schiff, Feinstein, Rosenstein, Wisemann, the FBI, FusionGPS and most importantly, the Clintons and the DNC to recoup all the taxpayer money that was wasted on this?

Mueller has created himself a “safe exit”. He indicts people he can’t prosecute, dropping the collusion part and trying to save face.

There's no way Mueller is "exiting". He's the insurance policy against the swamp getting indicted, while Trump is president. And it's working.

Ken Starr was constantly hounded by reporters. Not one question to Mueller.

So how is there any thought of any indictments for an action (collusion), that even if true, is not a criminal act?

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

They weren’t indicted for “collusion” .....

Mueller’s indictment against 13 Russian trolls claimed their social media political activity was criminal because:
- they were foreign citizens;
- they tried to influence an election;
- and they neither registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act nor reported their funding to the Federal Elections Commission.

https://lawandcrime.com/opinion/does-mueller-indictment-mean-clinton-campaign-can-be-indicted-for-chris-steele/

With those charges, according to the article at the link, others should also be indicted .... Steele, DNC, Fusion GPS, PerkinsCoie, Clinton Campaign ....

Did Mueller write Rosenstein’s comment for him, or did some other underling?

Mueller should be given 90 days to hand over what he has to congress and either show cause for a continuance, or bring the tent down on this circus

Not one of those people named in these current indictments will ever spend a second in court. They are foreign nationals and there is no country in the world that would deport them to the United States based on these politically motivated charges.

These indictments were manufactured for the sole purposes of providing the intelligence community with cover, and to absolve those within that circle who initiated the needless and possibly treasonous investigation of the Trump campaign.

They got their Russian patsies.... Patsies who will never testify or see the light of day in an actual court. So as a prosecutor Muller can accuse them of anything he likes knowing that they will never have the chance of being found innocent or guilty.

Next up will be a letter from Mueller to congress saying that while his investigation was needed and required, that there is no evidence of any collusion and the Trump campaign while being targeted by foreign nationals, was not complicit with them. His investigation will then end and the hope of the intelligence community is that Trump will not call for an investigation of the investigators.

It’s a trade off that some within Trumps camp would likely advise him to take, but hopefully he does not... It’s time for an investigation of the investigators. It’s time to weed out the rats who have been planted within the intelligence community as servants of their masters, the Obama’s and Clinton’s, rather than as servants of the people.

The new judge is Judge Emmet G. Sullivan . . .

Judge Sullivan was the judge in the Ted Stevens case. Do you remember him? He was the 85-year-old Republican senator from Alaska whose conviction for corruption was set aside by Judge Sullivan because the prosecution withheld exculpatory information. The prosecutors falsely charged and convicted a sitting U.S. senator who they knew was innocent. It is believed that because of Stevens's October conviction, he lost his November re-election bid to Democratic challenger Mark Begich. . . . Judge Sullivan angrily stated at the time when he set aside the conviction a month later that "[i]n nearly 25 years on the bench, I've never seen anything approaching the mishandling and misconduct that I've seen in this case."

As I was reading this, a flash of recognition hit me. Dunno if I can find it in a search, but I’m pretty sure I posted an article by Judge Sullivan from the dead-tree Wall Street Journal. In which Judge Sullivan described a kind of “Miranda Warning” which he said judges in New York State were being ordered to deliver from the bench to the prosecutors of any criminal case. Judge Sullivan was rejoicing in that, because of what he learned in the Stevens case - that he as judge had no real way of punishing a prosecutor who evaded his obligation to give the defense whatever exculpatory evidence he might have. But if given that warning (it has a name, which I don’t remember), a prosecutor who fails in that obligation is in a world of legal hurt.
A big piece of the rest of the article details Judge’s Sullivan’s actions - and says that, basically, Michael Flynn’s guilty plea is cancelled. And that Muller will have to drop it.
Great news!!!

It was in the transcript of the dark web chat site discovered by a hacker, where the plotters gave themselves names like “ Palpatine” and “Dooku”

It was the conversation they had the day before Mueller was announced as special investigator - which they knew was going to happen - and they were gleefully making plans to target Mike Flynn with a coordinated press leak

They mentioned RR would go along with the Muelller plan because they had info on him
