We know that the idea that the Russian government would try to fix the election for Trump is nonsensical in many ways. First, it makes no sense: the Russian government had already bought and paid for Hillary and would never have thrown away its investment by promoting Trump. Second, there seems to be no tangible way the Russian government could have pulled off such a fix directly. Furthermore, any attempt by Russians to actually influence the election would have probably been noticed by the Democrat operatives who were busy bussing people around to vote on behalf of all the people who did not show up to vote, marking all those extra ballots, registering thousands of illegal aliens at bogus addresses, etc.
I’m thinking that this “indictment” may be a face-saving move by Mueller, who still has found no evidence to support the original charter of this special counsel “investigation.” Find a couple of Russians who have traveled to the US, do a bit of research to find out who their colleagues are, then craft a bogus indictment with a ludicrous story, and voilà, the investigation has something to show for the millions of wasted dollars, and—even better—there is no way to ever prove or disprove any of it with court trials.
I wonder, after this sham, if this special counsel farce is finally going to be shut down. Or at least Mueller could be relieved and replaced with someone who will pursue the real abuses of government power committed by the Clintons and Obama.
media everywhere is mentioning Russia plus Trump, and maybe Jill Stein, Bernie Sanders.
Mueller’s investigation is as easy as ABC — Anybody But Clinton.
Democrats:
Did not!
Did too!
Did not!
Did too!
Well, I said it first!
If the Russians had Hillary’s emails, it would have been INSANELY STUPID to use them to elect Trump.
The emails revealed so far demonstrate that Clinton was “blackmailable”. Putin could twist her every way he wanted. He had already dominated Obama, politically. He had the goods on Hillary. Why throw that ace away for a card of unknown value?
The entire underlying premise to the collusion theory is fatally flawed.
My guess is that they intend to keep this so called “investigation” going until mid-terms to energize the Dem vote.
