So now this Sheriff is putting illegal aliens above her own deputies.
It’s one thing to put them above the citizens, but now they are putting above their own employees safety.
If one of the deputies should get injured, it’s blood on this lesbian liberal’s hands and she should get prison time.
Maybe she’s just on her period and will change her mind in a few days.
Dang, she fell out of the ugly tree, hit every branch on the way down, and then climbed back to the top and did it all over again. And it is that hideous liberal ugly of a warped soul.
Personally, if it was my life on the line, I’d buy my own damn vest, and be sure it was the best available, rather than from the low bidder (or designated minority set-aside)

They have to budget accordingly. Federal grants are grants, and not an annual privilege. The revoking of grants is to punish them. They know it, they have to comply or live with it. Let each officer buy their own body armor.
Personally, if I were a deputy in that department, I’d go find another department to work in. Leadership not only has demonstrated that they don’t care if you die, they put illegals over you. You cannot count on them to not backstab you if politically or personally convenient - so you really don’t want to work there.
Any smart Travis County deputies should be quitting about now...
