I think the local Sheriff should resign along with the local FBI head along with Rick Scott, the principal and the entire Board of Education.
Director FBI reports to Deputy Attorney General. The DNI oversight relates ONLY to FBI counterintelligence activity. DNI can’t fire Director FBI, but DAG can.
That’s a pretty massive catch on your part.

I think the Board of education in Broward is where Debbie W-S cut her teeth. They collect beau coup $$$$$ from the Florida and the fedgov for mainstreaming crazies in the general classroom. It’s a profitable racket.

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. - Elective office has its perks — just ask Broward Sheriff Scott Israel and his triplets.
A group of campaign donors, Broward Sheriff’s Office employees and various agency hangers-on threw the Israel family a graduation party, complete with the largest pile of king crab you’ve likely ever seen, that netted gifts valued at more than $15,000 for the kids to take home with them, according to Israel’s recently filed campaign disclosure forms with the Florida Ethics Commission.
The largest benefactor for the party was Jamie McDonnell, the flashy and at times erratic multimillionaire businessman who calls himself the “King of Weston.” McDonnell - who rang Israel’s cellphone last year when his then-girlfriend complained to BSO that McDonnell had battered her — ponied up $843 for “catering” and $300 as gifts for the Israel children after their high school graduation. Another $750 in gifts came from his brother, Joseph McDonnell, for a total of nearly $2,000 between them.....
I would fire everyone on the 7th floor. I would hire headhunters and cull the rest of the herd.
That FBI guy tried to minimize FBI involvement and lied to America.

The FBI, Florida Law Enforcement, and the School District are in a perfect position. Since they all are to blame, none of them will be held accountable.
An honorable man would resign. A white-hat, in this case, would summarily dismiss everyone involved, and then resign. Wray is neither.

The FBI is a tainted incompetent bureaucratic mess from top to bottom. I don’t buy this obligatory “the rank and file FBI are hard-working dedicated blah blah BLAH....” It’s not true!!!!

That’s why the Sheriff and is squealing so loudly. He effed up as did the Eff-Bee-Aye. All three entities are culpable. Broward School board is MUM because they voted to NOT- REPORT potential psychos and criminal kids to the sheriff’s office.
Broward Schools began conducting their own little ‘Sanctuary” program to shield their kids and to delay criminal prosecution of their violent and dangerous kids.
They have just paid the heaviest price for that progressive decision by the Broward County School Board.
Dead teachers & dead kids. They have themselves to ultimately blame.
